Missions and outreach

🌍 Missions & Outreach

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19

At Happy Home Baptist Church, our mission is simple yet powerful — to reach every home within a 5-mile radius with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We believe that loving our neighbors starts right here in our community and extends to the ends of the earth.

Through prayer, service, and generosity, we strive to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of those around us. Whether it’s providing a warm jacket for a child, supporting global missionaries, or sharing hope at a local festival, every act of love is an opportunity to reflect Jesus.

💖 Local & Global Outreach

Our outreach ministry is active year-round, offering many ways to get involved:

  • 🧥 Children’s Jacket Mission
Providing coats and warm clothing for kids in need during the colder months — a simple way to share the warmth and love of Christ.

  • 🎁 Angel Tree Ministry
Bringing Christmas joy to families through gifts, love, and the message of Jesus’ birth.

  • 💌 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
Supporting international missionaries who are taking the gospel to the nations.

  • 🙏 Week of Prayer for International Missions
A time dedicated to uniting our church in focused prayer for missionaries serving around the world.

  • 🎡 Leeds Outreach – Creek Bank Festival
Connecting with our community through fun, fellowship, and faith conversations at a local event — showing that church can meet people where they are.

SINCE 1918

What is the Lottie Moon
Christmas Offering?

Lottie Moon was sent as a Southern Baptist missionary to China from 1873 to 1912. She saw firsthand the world's greatest problem — LOSTNESS. Meeting so many people who had never heard the gospel compelled her to write letters to American churches describing the need for a greater missionary presence.

She pleaded for increased prayer and financial support to send and sustain more missionaries. This challenge became known as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering®.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is a registered trademark of Woman's Missionary Union.
